Activities in July
- Installation of new utilities at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and London Circuit
- 24/7 work throughout July at the intersection of London Circuit and Edinburgh Avenue
- Relocation of speed camera on Northbourne Avenue
- Landscaping, installation of streetlights and kerb and guttering finishing works on the Parkes Way off ramp
- Night and weekend works continue for Light Rail Stage 2A to Commonwealth Park
- Complete the light rail communication preference survey

Night and weekend work
London Circuit and Edinburgh Avenue
During July, each Saturday between 6am and 6pm, works will be undertaken
at the intersection of Commonwealth Avenue and London Circuit for fill placement and permanent utilities installations, including stormwater works.
Edinburgh Avenue and London Circuit intersection
Between 6am Monday, 1 July and 7am Wednesday, 31 July 2024 work will be undertaken on a 24-hour basis, including weekends and overnights, at the intersection of London Circuit and Edinburgh Avenue.
Works will include excavation for utilities, stormwater and sewer works, utilities
installation, streetlight and traffic signalling works, pavement works and landscaping.
Further changes are planned to the QT Hotel driveway entrance from Monday 8 July, and updates will be published on act.gov.au/lightrailtowoden.
Parkes Way eastbound ramp to Commonwealth Avenue
Between 7pm Friday 19 July to 6am Monday 22 July and 7pm Friday 26 July to 6am Monday 29 July the Parkes Way eastbound ramp to Commonwealth Avenue will be closed.
Works will be undertaken to complete streetlight installations, concrete works, landscaping and finishing works. A detour will be in place via the Coranderrk Street roundabout.
Works will take place for the duration of the closure, including overnight.
If works are unable to be complete during these dates, work will take place from Friday 2 August to Monday 5 August.
